What resources can I use to learn Russian and Latin at home?

Hi!
I have decided that I would like to learn some new laguages. I cannot afford college at the moment so I would like to know a good resource to start. I am interested in Latin and Russian for now. -Thanks

Learning Russian (I know nuffin about Latin):

Rosetta Stone is good if you already know the Cyrillic (Russian) alphabet really well. Everything in this software is written in Russian, even the menus!

If you’re not comfy with the basics yet then there are a zillion books you can pick up. I have used Rachel Farmers “Beginner’s Russian” which is quite user friendly and comes with a CD.

The New Penguin Russian Course is a very popular book but is REALLY heavy on the grammar, it scares me. Great as a reference but gives me a headache if I try to absorb too much in one go

I’m putting a free learning resource together to help people learn Russian. It’s only launched 10 days ago so it doesn’t have heaps of lessons yet, but it can start you in the right direction.

Can I work from home in Michigan?

I live in a suburb of Detroit and just had my second baby, I am currently on maternity leave. I have been a medical biller/office manager for 8 1/2 years. I would love to find something, anything I can do from home. I’m not looking to become a millionaire, just make some extra money. I am self-motivated. I am not into selling or tele-marketing of any kind. Any suggestions??

I’ve had a lot of experience over the past 3 years with this subject. I went through litereally 50+ different companies on the interent trying to make money while I was in college. There’s sooo much crap out there and companies that promise you the world but deliver nothing but hype, it takes a while to seperate the crap from the genuine money making opportunities.

Now after sooo many disapointments I’m using a crowd called Data Entry Pro and it’s now making me money (finally!) online.

Anyway, basically you sign up with them and then once your logged in you just fill in as many forms as you like in their members section and you get paid for each one. I get checks from them every 2 weeks each averaging around $250-$350. You could make more but I just use the site as an extra income stream aswell as my full time job so I only work on it for around an hour each night.

You do have to be prepared to spend a little money though if you want to do anything online like this but it´s already been worth it for me.
